What are Flexon frames?
Flexon frames are feather-light and flexible metal eyeglass frames that you can bend, twist, and flex without causing damage. The frames return to their original shape, providing you with a superior fit and long-term wear guarantee.
Our staff can fine-tune the nose pads and earpieces to ensure a custom fit for your face, and there's a large selection of fashionable frames you can choose from to suit your preferences.
What are no-line progressive lenses?
Progressive no-line lenses provide you with clearer vision in three ranges:
Close up: for activities like reading
Intermediate: for activities like computer use
Distance: for activities like driving
They differ from bifocal and trifocal lenses in that there are no lines that disrupt your vision. You can enjoy clearer vision in all ranges with the same lens.
How often do I need my eyeglass prescription changed?
If you don’t have an advanced eye disease, you can expect a visit with Dr. Whitlow every year. During your exam, Dr. Whitlow assesses the capabilities of your vision to determine if you need a change in your prescription for your eyeglasses or prescription sunglasses.
What are the benefits of prescription sunglasses?
If you prefer wearing eyeglasses or can’t tolerate contact lenses, you should consider investing in a pair of prescription sunglasses. Prescription sunglasses make it easy and convenient to protect your eyes from the harmful ultraviolet (UV) rays of the sun.
You won’t have to wear clip-on sunglasses or wear non-prescription glasses that don’t correct your vision.
Whitlow Family Vision Centers offers several prescription sunglass frames to suit your tastes and your natural features.
