Robert N. Whitlow, II, OD is a board-licensed optometrist offering various comprehensive eye care services at Whitlow Family Vision Centers in Glasgow and Edmonton, Kentucky. Dr. Whitlow provides routine eye examinations, customized contact lens fitting (including ortho-k), and diagnosis and treatment of eye conditions like macular degeneration, cataracts, and glaucoma.

Using a patient-centered approach, Dr. Whitlow takes the time to listen and understand your concerns. He makes your eye care needs a priority at each appointment. Dr. Whitlow was a biology major at the University of Kentucky before pursuing his optometry degree at Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, Tennessee. He continues his education in all areas of optometry, including disease detection and treatment and custom-designed contact lenses for many conditions.

When not serving his patients, he is a member of the leadership team of Business Networking International (BNI) also, past president and current member of Barren County Beekeepers Association.

Cheryl G. Whitlow, OD, is a board-licensed optometrist with a focus in pediatric optometry at Whitlow Family Vision Centers in Glasgow and Edmonton, Kentucky. Dr. Whitlow is one of the only pediatric optometrists in the area.

Dr. Whitlow also provides a variety of other eye care services for the whole family, using technologies to diagnose and treat eye conditions and diseases. She values a patient-centered approach and gives each patient the personal attention they deserve.

Dr. Whitlow has served as the director of the Pediatric Eye Clinic at Memphis Mental Health Institute. She has also been a clinical instructor at the Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, Tennessee.

Dr. Whitlow retains current affiliations as a lecturer at Southeast Vision Training Forum, the Southern College of Optometry Residency Conference, and the Southern College of Optometry. She is also an honored member of the Beta Sigma Kappa Optometric Honor Fraternity.

After graduating with her degree in optometry from Indiana University School of Optometry, Dr. Whitlow continued pursuing educational opportunities relating to astigmatism correction, glaucoma management, laser surgery, and postoperative cataract care.

She has also conducted research at Indiana University School of Optometry, which was published in Southeast Vision Training Forum Magazine.

Dr. Whitlow finds eye care truly fascinating. She enjoys keeping up with developments in eye care and helping her patients with her knowledge and expertise in a wide range of eye care treatment techniques.

Ronald Wagner, OD, is a board-licensed optometrist at Whitlow Family Vision Centers in Glasgow, KY. Dr. Wagner joined our team at the beginning of 2021, and we are thrilled to have him and his years of expertise at our office.

Dr. Wagner is a graduate of the University of Houston College of Optometry. With 45+ years of diverse experience, he is eager to help patients in our office. When not serving patients, he enjoys day trips with his wife in their Roadster convertible.

Misty has been an employee at Whitlow Family Vision Centers since 2011. She is a Hart County High School graduate and is Final Inspector certified for lens crafting. She is also state-trained in Optical Dispensary as she sells, dispenses, adjusts, and edges lenses for glasses at our Glasgow and Edmonton offices.

Misty is married with 2 children. She enjoys hunting, exercising, being outdoors, woodcraft work, refinishing bargain finds, and religious studies in her free time. Her favorite sports team is the Green Bay Packers.

As the office manager, Misty oversees all aspects of the office to ensure patients are satisfied with their experience at our office.

Molly has been an employee at Whitlow Family Vision Centers since 2020. She graduated from Glasgow Christian Academy and earned a bachelor’s degree in business management from Marian University. She enjoys watching movies, exercising, and hanging out with her dogs and family in her free time. Her favorite sports team is the Green Bay Packers.

As the optical sales manager, Molly oversees the optical area of the office to ensure our patients are satisfied with their new spectacles. She also assists in marketing projects throughout the office.

Jasmine has been an employee at Whitlow Family Vision Centers since 2021. She is an Allen County Scottsville High School graduate and loves spending time with friends and family in her free time. Jasmine is married and has two kids.

As a lab technician at our office, Jasmine edges lenses into patients’ frames and ensures accuracy prior to patients receiving their new spectacles.

Heather has been an employee at Whitlow Family Vision Centers since 2017. She graduated from Metcalfe County High School and earned an associate’s degree from Southcentral Kentucky Community and Technical College. Heather is married with 2 kids. She enjoys reading books, YouTubing, watching movies, and spending time with her family in her free time. Her favorite sports team is the University of Kentucky.

Heather works in our billing department at the office where she assists in insurance benefits, billing, and payments.

Twyla has been an employee at Whitlow Family Vision Centers since 2010. She is a high school graduate of Metcalfe County High School and earned a Bachelor of Arts in Social Sciences from Ashford University. She is happily married with 2 kids and enjoys spending time with her family. Her favorite sports team is the University of Kentucky.

Twyla works diligently on accounts receivables and insurance benefits to organize and apply payments.

Ariel has been an employee at our office since December 2022. She is a graduate of Barren County High School. In her free time, Ariel enjoys playing video games, crocheting, and hanging out with her family.

As a front desk receptionist, Ariel is one of the smiling faces you see as you walk in the door. She schedules appointments, assists with phone calls, and works to ensure patients are well taken care of while at our office.

Taylor has been an employee at our office since April of 2023. She is a Glasgow High School graduate and is a certified medical assistant through The Medical Institute of Kentucky. In her free time, she enjoys playing music as her creative outlet.

Taylor is one of our team members who prepares the patient for the doctor through a series of visual checks and obtaining a thorough medical history.

Sheila has been an employee at our office since September of 2023. She is a graduate of Monroe County High School. She has studied at Texas Tech University and at WKU, where she studied sociology. In her free time, Sheila enjoys spending time with her husband and sons, reading, crafting, making custom hats, and watching Hallmark and detective shows. Her favorite sports team is the UK basketball team.

As an office assistant, Sheila coordinates with our front desk receptionists to assist with filing, answering phones, and ensuring our paperwork is kept up to date.

Mary has been an employee at our office since October of 2023. She is a Glasgow High School graduate and is a certified nursing assistant. She is currently studying to be a pharmacy technician. In her free time, Mary enjoys spending time with friends, bowling, and trying new foods. Her favorite sports team is the Texas Longhorns volleyball team.

As an optical sales consultant, Mary assists our patients in finding the perfect frame and explaining our specialized lens options for each individual.
